Practical Application (Projector Structure)
The three primary colors of red, green, and blue, separated from the light source, form corresponding images on individual LCD (HTPS) panels. They then converge in a dichroic prism to be reassembled into a complete image. Colors and images are formed by reflecting red and blue, and passing through green.
This prism is a cuboid formed by four triangular prisms.
High processing precision and bonding techniques are required to avoid dark lines and ghosting caused by improper alignment of the filter surfaces at the bonding points.
