Free Game Sharing: Five Games to Play with Newspapers

Objectives:
1. Enhance children's visuospatial abilities.

Materials:
1. Old newspapers 2. Scissors
Game 1: Flying Over Black Holes
Steps:
1. Divide participants into two groups.
2. Give each group old newspapers and ask them to crumple each sheet into a paper ball. There's no limit on the number, approximately 30 to 40, but both groups must have the same number of paper balls.
3. Ask each group to cut 2-3 holes, each 10 x 10 cm, in the center of a whole newspaper.
4. Have two members from each group hold the newspaper with the holes, while the other members take turns throwing paper balls.
5. The group with the most successful throws wins.
Notes: 1. To increase difficulty, cut smaller holes in the newspaper.
Game 2: Newspaper Ball Transport Through Holes
How to Play:
Cut several holes in the middle of a newspaper. Two people use the newspaper to transport a ball to the finish line, without letting the ball fall through the holes.
Game 3: Rolled Newspaper Sticks
How to Play:
Tie a string between two newspaper sticks. Two people play, each holding a newspaper stick, standing face to face.
Start! Both players actively roll the newspaper stick along the string. See who finishes first!
Game 4: The Unfalling Newspaper
How to Play:
Place a sheet of newspaper above your face! Keep blowing forcefully to prevent the newspaper from falling!The props are simple to make, and the gameplay can be varied according to children's ideas. Give it a try!
Game 5: Newspaper Stick Ball Passing
