This is a fun game for children aged 3-7. (Even my children, who are now in their teens, still love to play it!) Tools needed: Time, some small pieces of paper, a pen, a small gift
Preparation: First, hide the gift in a corner of your home, and draw the layout of this corner on a piece of paper (no need to be too detailed, just draw some special objects near the location). Then, find another corner to place this drawn piece of paper, draw the location where this paper is hidden, and hide it in another place, and so on. If you are a beginner, repeating this process for about 5-6 pieces of paper is enough, otherwise the child may lose patience in searching. But when the child knows how to play, they might ask you to add more pieces of paper! Of course, children should not be present when you are doing this preparation. You can keep them in one room, patiently waiting for you to finish before they come out to play. This waiting will make the game even more exciting, and children will eagerly anticipate you letting them out to play!
How to play: Give the paper to the child and see if they can identify or guess the next location to find and ultimately get the hidden gift.
Tips: 1) If the child is older, you can add some text or riddles to increase the difficulty of the game, for example: "In the second drawer of the small cabinet next to where you often brush your teeth." 2) The small gift doesn't need to be expensive, it can be a candy or a stationery item.
