A swift horse

There once was a young steed, waiting for its discerning master to discover it.
A merchant came and said, "Will you come with me?"
The horse shook its head and said, "I am a steed that can travel a thousand li a day. How could I possibly carry goods for a merchant?"
A soldier came and said, "Will you come with me?"
The horse shook its head and said, "I am a steed that can travel a thousand li a day. How could I possibly serve an ordinary soldier?"... A hunter came and said, "Will you come with me?"
The horse shook its head and said, "I am a steed that can travel a thousand li a day. How could I possibly be a laborer for a hunter?"
Day after day, year after year, this horse still hadn't found its ideal master.
One day, an imperial envoy was ordered to search among the people for a steed that could travel a thousand li a day. The steed found the imperial envoy and said, "I am the steed you are looking for!"
The imperial envoy asked, "Are you familiar with the routes in our country?" The horse shook its head.
The imperial envoy then asked, "Have you been to battle before, and do you have combat experience?" The horse shook its head.
The imperial envoy said, "Then what use are you to me?"
The horse said, "I can travel a thousand li by day and eight hundred li by night."
The imperial envoy asked it to run for a while to see.
The horse exerted itself and ran forward, but after only a few steps, it was out of breath and sweating profusely.
"You're old and no longer capable!" the imperial envoy said, then turned and left.
Realization: A magnificent building starts from the ground up; every seemingly ordinary job is accumulating energy for you.
Everything you do today is accumulating energy for your future; every unhappiness and despair you experience today is laying the foundation for the future! Don't wait until you're old and can no longer run to regret it!
Academic qualifications do not represent ability, and diplomas do not represent culture. Past glories have all become history and memories. Therefore, what happened yesterday is not important; the key is what you do today, and that will determine what tomorrow brings! (Reposted from Facebook)
