A unique friend allowed the child to have a healthy life.
A special friend gave children a healthy life: "Uncle 100 Points has a special friend, but because she doesn't like to be in the spotlight, we'll just call her Mrs. Wong." Mrs. Wong and her husband started their business with only their bare hands more than 40 years ago; now, she takes care of the livelihoods of over a hundred employees. However, Uncle 100 Points does not intend to introduce her business success here. Instead, he wants to introduce her family: three generations living together, with many children and grandchildren, and each child is an outstanding elite. Mrs. Wong said with a smile: "Back then, Mr. Wong and I worked long hours every day, leaving early and coming home late, so we had very little time to take care of our three children. However, no matter how busy we were, we always set aside some time each day to talk with our children. We communicated with them through casual conversations, understood and taught them. We taught them to take care of themselves from a young age, so they never worried their parents. Although I would scold them mercilessly when they made mistakes, my husband and I never physically punished our children, so as not to damage our relationship. Later, they all returned from studying in Australia and started their own families." Every year, Mrs. Wong personally participates in the annual "New Year's Day Winter Swim" with her grandchildren, which is truly remarkable! For example, her eldest granddaughter, Yun-ya, and second grandson, Jian-jin, completed the 600-meter race from Middle Bay to Repulse Bay in 2004, when the temperature was only 14 degrees Celsius. And Jian-jin was the youngest of the 2,200 athletes, at only four years old! Not only that, in 2008, her youngest granddaughter, Yun-ting, who was just over 3 years old, and her sister and brother completed the entire race in a temperature of only 10 degrees Celsius! She was also the youngest of over 2,000 participants! This year (2009), on May 1st, Yun-ya and Jian-jin will participate in the 3,000-meter race, and their sister Yun-ting has also decided to challenge herself by participating in the 1,000-meter race. Every time they participate in a race, the whole family mobilizes to cheer them on, which is a great joy! Mrs. Wong said: "No matter how difficult life was back then, or how much circumstances have improved now, my requirements for my children have never changed. I insist that they must maintain at least one healthy sport from a young age, so that they will have a healthy life when they grow up. People now live prosperous lives, and they give their children abundant material things, but they exercise less, and their minds are relatively less active. From the age of one or two, no matter how busy my grandchildren are with homework and extracurricular activities, they must make time to go to the swimming pool with me every week to train for swimming. All year round, come rain or shine! This not only keeps them healthy but also trains them to persevere in everything and not give up easily!" In fact, no matter how busy you are as parents with work or your career, or how wealthy you are, taking care of your children must be your top priority. As long as you are direct and natural, communicate with your children every day, set goals to achieve with them, don't make excuses for yourself, and show your children more affection, they will enjoy family life, learn to respect their parents, and lead healthy lives.
