再見了,勝利道大眼哥

Goodbye, Big-Eyed Brother from Victory Avenue

Big Eyes from Victory Avenue (Bear Bear):
My tears have almost dried up. Knowing that tomorrow morning, your body will leave this home where you've lived for ten years, my heart aches. I hope in your next life, you'll be reborn into a good family and no longer be a dog!
Ten years ago, for some unknown impulse, while cycling in Tai Po with my family, I suddenly felt like looking for you. I searched everywhere but couldn't find you, yet finally, I found you on Victory Avenue. You were being bullied by other dogs, and I saw you at first glance and brought you home. I thought, "You are the one I was looking for!" But I couldn't explain why I had to bring you home. Looking back today, I finally understand!
You have perfectly and exceptionally completed your historical mission. These missions include accompanying me when my husband passed away six years ago and when my father passed away two years ago. And all these years, you've stood up to protect our family, barking away countless demons and ghosts. In recent years, you even seemed to know the time, urging us to go to bed every night and waking us up every morning. Now that you're gone, the house is too quiet, and it's taking some getting used to.
We have grown up now and know how to face life, death, and adversity, so you don't need to worry. Go to sleep! Just like in the past few months, you would bark at my bedroom door at night to wake me up, and then I would tell you, "Go to sleep!" and you would obediently go to your little bed to sleep. The difference is, this time when you fall asleep, you'll be going to a very far place and won't be coming back. Go in peace! We will take good care of ourselves and your beloved partner, Mo Mo.
Your owners who will love you forever
