Go online to study

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, your children have had to start homeschooling. Have you ever wondered what they are learning at home? And what negative impacts might they be experiencing?

Parents are busy working to make ends meet, and keeping a job is already a blessing! Now, with the fear of the virus entering the country, there's the added worry of not being able to hire foreign domestic helpers. In such times, we often overlook our children's education. We might think that our children are already comfortable learning at home, and that education is the school's responsibility, while our main concern should be keeping our jobs! But have you ever considered that in their free time, children go online, make friends online, and what unhealthy habits they might be picking up or what kind of information they might be absorbing?

Since many parents in other countries choose homeschooling for their children, there are many free learning resources available online for download. For children under 8, there are more learning resources, and the content is also more comprehensive; however, for children aged 9 or 14 and above, it can become more complex and might require purchasing supplementary teaching materials. But if you are determined to help your children learn at home, there's always a way.

Here are some free learning resources we found online for you. We hope they can help you: >https://www.me100fun.com.hk/pages/free-resources.

One of the biggest benefits the pandemic has brought us is fostering children's self-learning and eagerness to learn, prompting us to reflect on the meaning of education. Unfortunately, children's minds may not yet be mature, and they need parents to provide moral education so that they can analyze which information on the internet is beneficial to absorb and which information needs to be avoided.
